Olive Art Foundation C.I.C.
Creativity should be accessible to everyone.
Olive Art Foundation C.I.C. is a Community Interest Company using creativity, arts and education to improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and create opportunities for people to learn, connect and take part.
We believe that cost, circumstance or confidence should not prevent somebody from accessing meaningful creative experiences.
Our work is designed for people of all ages, with a particular focus on those who face barriers to taking part because of financial, physical, social, cultural, health or other circumstances. This reflects the objects written into our Articles of Association.
What we do
We create and support inclusive opportunities including:

-
Creative workshops and arts programmes
-
Education, training and skills development
-
Community arts projects
-

-
Creative opportunities for children and young people
-

-

-
Projects that bring people together through creativity

Our aim is not simply to deliver arts and crafts. We use creativity as a way to develop skills, build confidence, support wellbeing, encourage lifelong learning and help people connect with their communities.
Who we support

Our work can benefit children and young people, adults, older people, families, artists, volunteers and communities.
We particularly want to reach people who experience barriers to creativity because of financial hardship, disability, poor mental health, loneliness, social isolation or other disadvantage.
Where does the money go?
Olive Art Foundation C.I.C. exists for community benefit rather than private gain.
Any surplus we generate is used to further our community work. This could include expanding programmes, developing new projects, improving resources and facilities, supporting beneficiaries, investing in staff and volunteers and helping make our work sustainable for the future.
Our Articles also contain an asset lock, which protects the CIC's assets for community benefit. Our nominated asset locked body is Suffolk Community Foundation.
Who are we?
Olive Art Foundation is led by a team of Directors who bring different skills, experiences and perspectives to the organisation. Together, they help shape our direction, safeguard our purpose and make sure the Foundation is well governed and working in the best interests of the communities we serve.

Our Directors support the Foundation in different ways, from education and safeguarding to finance, community development and creative delivery, while sharing responsibility for its long term future.
